(More customer reviews)I placed bands around three mulberry trees with tent caterpillar infestations. None of the caterpillars walked on the sticky bands. Instead, they came down to the edge, stopped, turned around, and went back up the tree. They could easily have dropped off, fallen to the ground, and gone on about their business but that thought never crossed the caterpillar mind. Most went back up the tree and died. Where we typically find 50 to 100 caterpillars on the ground in a summer, this year we found maybe 10. Next year we will put these bands on ALL our mulberry trees, and do it before tenting time.
