I have wanted a Hilo Lip for a while and not only did they manage to have it arrive on my birthday, it is in spike. They packed it well and it seems very healthy! I hope to be able to post a picture of it's first bloom in a few weeks.

The parents of this newly named cross are Phalaenopsis Hilo Lip 'Newberry' x Phalaenopsis Mary Brooks 'Mendenhall'.We picture some of the first bloom seedlings of this cross. These have white lips from the Phalaenopsis Hilo Lip parent and increasedvigor and size from the Phalaenopsis Mary Brooks parent.These plants will have arching stems of pink and lavender flowers with the trademark white Hilo lip. The growth habit is similar tothe Mary Brooks parent, vigorous grower with dark colored foliage.We offer these plnats in 3" pots. Easy to grow and flower!They will grow well under artificial lights or on a windowsill. Blooming season is spring.
