(More customer reviews)I have this book and love it. About 90 pages. No ISBN on it. It contains solely Brigham Young quotes from "Journal of Discourses." They range from one-liners to about 150 word snippets. Arranged by topic.
The authors picked out a good representative sampling, humorous, gospel-related, and practical. Even the gospel-related was spoken by Brigham with a simpleness and directness that is refreshing.
As a fan of Brigham Young, I also have "Discourses of Brigham Young" compiled by John A. Widtsoe. I haven't cross-checked much, but I think there are snippets in "Salt" that are not included in Widtsoe's compilation.
