(More customer reviews)The volume in question is of fundamental importance to the history of entomology, particularly in relation to insect classification, but the buyer should know that it dates from the early 1800s and was one of the very first books on entomology. Free copies in pdf format are available on the internet, too, since the book is now in the public domain. Just let the buyer know that he or she is likely to be a century and some behind the times. The original citation should read: W. Kirby and W. Spence, Introduction to Entomology, 4 vols (1815-1826).
