(More customer reviews)This book had me hooked right from the first sentence. Raven a beautiful young girl who is spoiled and pampered by her Dad a Drug Boss that is well respected in the community. Raven is given anything she wants and when she crosses path with the handsome, manipulative, abusive, and conniving Mizan things soon go crazy. Mizan a "Jackboy" always looking for a come up stumbles on a gold mine, Kingpin Benjamin Atkin's daughter. He takes over Rae's mind and body in order to get access to her father's fortune. Her father can see what type of guy Mizan is off the bat and wants Rae to leave him alone, but Rae is caught up in her feelings. Ethic a smart business partner who is new in town sees what is going on with Rae and wants to help her father get her back in control. This book was great from the beginning to the end I finished reading this book in two days, it was that good.
