(More customer reviews)This book is entertaining as well as informative. Stories of real bears are mixed in with the latest research on bears in Yellowstone. Dr. Halfpenny has special knowledge of the animals of Yellowstone as he lives close by and is an outstanding tracker and scientist. If you are interested in bears at all you will gain knowledge and enjoy this book. No romantic or horrific notions of bears are given here. . just the facts, but the facts are so facinating that the books reads quickly and next time you see a grizzly bear you will know more about it. The photography is outsanding and the book is an interesting coffee table book as well. It will go into my permanent libary on bears.
