It is not meant to be a complete atlas of butterflies and moths, but explains in straightforward terms many features of the lives and behaviors of these beautiful insects. The quality of content and production is what we have come to expect from DK Publishing! It is the perfect companion to an atlas of regional butterflies. Although the content is geared for the adult and older student, younger children will love to have the information interpreted for them. My six year old stands in the butterfly garden, this book open in her hands, waiting to spot a butterfly familiar from its pages.
