For those who enjoy short books about mysterious creatures that inhabit the earth, then this book might be what you're looking for.
Could moths, dragonflies and butterflies really be creatures from another dimension: creatures who experience the same fears as mankind?
When Kiley and Mattie, two eleven-year-old sisters, hear a commotion at the cat door in their kitchen, they have no idea that they're about to embark upon a great adventure. Their cat, Rainbow, has captured a moth for her dinner. Or is it another creature entirely? The two girls discover that Rainbow has captured Pany, Prince of the Wibbly Weebeys. His wing is broken, and if Wibbly Weebeys can't fly they will die. It is up to Mattie and Kiley, sisters who are opposite in every way, and their newfound friends, to find the necessary ingredients to bring healing to the prince.
Told with vivid imagery and delightful dialogue, this children's book will intrigue readers of all ages. The author does exceptionally well at describing the characters, and the cat Rainbow jumps off the page into vivid life. I have a cat, and I could visualize everything this mischievous cat did with vivid clarity. Happy reading, and God bless.
